💚 Brave the Shave – Supporting Macmillan Cancer Support
and The Little Princess Trust 💚
On Saturday 18th October, our boutique was filled with love, laughter, and an overwhelming sense of community as friends and family gathered to support Leanne for her incredible Brave the Shave event.
Leanne chose to shave her head in honour of her sister Leah, who is bravely fighting cancer. Surrounded by well-wishing loved ones, she shared these heartfelt words:
“Today, I honour my sister’s fight by shaving my head for Macmillan Cancer Support and donating over 16 inches of hair to The Little Princess Trust. I’ve had so many messages this morning calling me brave – thank you, but what I’m doing isn’t brave in my eyes. The battle my beautiful sister is facing right now is worth all of this and more – she is the brave one.” ❤️
The day was a huge success, with an incredible atmosphere of love, unity, and strength. Together, our amazing community has raised over £4,200 so far, and with our charity raffle featuring fantastic prizes donated by local businesses (some worth over £200!), the total has now reached an incredible £5,560.00! 🎉
Every single penny will help Macmillan Cancer Support continue their vital work providing care and support to those affected by cancer, while The Little Princess Trust will turn Leanne’s beautiful hair donation into wigs for children and young people who’ve lost their own through cancer treatment.
